Curry Udon with Shrimp and Mochi Tempura at Oumi Sasaya

We have an order of Curry Udon with Shrimp and Mochi Tempura for our random meal of the day. This was definitely a unique random meal. We start with a flavorful Japanese curry base for the broth that had the perfect consistency to be a broth. We then layer in some fantastic udon noodles into this wonderful broth. Then we add the tempura fried shrimp to the mix. The final surprise was the tempura batted fried mochi for the unique sweet and savory twist. Careful, it is pipping hot.
